Paul Pierce can’t seem to catch a break since getting destroyed by Jalen Rose after claiming to have had a better career than Dwyane Wade.
After making a drunk appearance next to Kevin Garnett during an NBA Finals live stream recently, Pierce is again a subject of ridicule among NBA fans, this time for his take on Zion Williamson.
The New Orleans Pelicans forward is the current hot topic in NBA circles as a result of his off-court saga, though he has been presented some calm by Twitter. But Paul isn’t getting slammed for his opinion on the matter, fans are clowning him for his take on Zion’s game.
Speaking during the latest episode of his podcast with Garnett, “Ticket and The Truth,” Pierce disagreed with his former teammate’s claims of the Pels star being a “generational talent.”
“I mean I don’t really agree with he a generational talent,” he said.
“You’re F crazy,” KG interjected before Pierce went on to name Charles Barkley and Shawn Kemp as players who were similar to Zion in size while just as explosive.

Fans sided with Kevin on this one, which is the case more often than not. You could see some of their reactions right below:
To be fair to Truth, many fans sided with him too, but it’s pretty hard to argue that Zion isn’t a generational talent. He’s an absolute force on the court when healthy and has averaged 25.8 points per game on 60.5 percent shooting from the field in the 114 games he’s played. The problem is he’s hardly healthy.
