Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George sought the help of social media on Thursday, asking his Instagram followers for an assist in identifying a kid whom he accused of hitting his new car and driving off.
Paul, who shared a photo of the driver in question via his IG story, claimed the young man “dipped” on him without providing his information following the collision.
“This kid hit and run my brand new car today,” he wrote in a post, which has since been deleted, “Then dipped without giving me his driver’s license. If you know him, tag him.”
“Anybody know who this kid is. DM me,” he added.
Needless to say, the reactions were hilarious.

It appears the ploy worked as Paul’s wife, Daniela, posted to her own IG story.
“GOT HIM!!! TY IG,” she wrote. She has also deleted the post.
As to whether the police got involved after the collision is unknown, as is the location. But TMZ claimed to be working on it at the time of writing.
Meanwhile, George is out of action with a hamstring injury. He’s averaged 23.4 points and 5.1 assists, and 6.0 rebounds in 31 games for the Clippers this season. But the team is struggling, with a 23-24 record to its name as they sit in eighth in the NBA’s Western Conference.
