Michael Jordan, widely regarded as the greatest player of all time, has achieved several milestones in his professional career and is often praised for his remarkable skills on the court. However, Minnesota Timberwolves star player Anthony Edwards recently made controversial comments about the legacy of the Chicago Bulls legend.
Edwards claimed that Jordan, who was recently criticized by a former NBA champion, was the only player of his generation with extraordinary talent. Although a number of players agreed with Edwards’ remarks, some interpreted them as disparaging one of the best players in NBA history.
In response to this, Paul George, who recently signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, offered his honest assessment of the Timberwolves player’s comments on a recent episode of “Podcast P with Paul George.”
I thought it was kinda disrespectful for the game. I thought it was a very immature comment. Obviously, Anthony Edwards is super talented, and he’s a huge talent going forward. But just how much the game has grown, you gotta pay dues to those dudes that did it before us. George said.
George said Edward’s words disrespected the game, as Jordan is a legend. The 76ers star called Edward’s comment immature.

I didn’t watch it back in the day so I can’t speak on it. They say it was tougher back then than it is now, but I don’t think anybody had skill back then. (Jordan) was the only one that really had skill, you know what I mean? So that’s why when they saw Kobe, they were like, ‘Oh, my God.’ But now everybody has skill. Anthony Edwards said.
Despite Edwards’ remark, Jordan has achieved enough in his professional career to be considered the greatest player in NBA history. George believes Edwards is a very talented athlete; he should have respect for former players. A number of athletes have noticed Edwards’ remark. It will be interesting to see the reactions he receives.
