A massive four-team trade proposal has the Golden State Warriors landing another perennial All-Star and future Hall of Famer to their championship roster.
Coming off another disappointing and early postseason elimination, many wondered if the Los Angeles Clippers would look to shake up their core. That hasn’t happened this offseason, but that could always change if the right deal comes along.
At Fadeaway World, Eddie Bitar proposed a monster four-team trade that has Golden State receiving George. The Clippers would get two-way stalwart Andrew Wiggins and Evan Fournier, while the New York Knicks would land their own superstar in Karl-Anthony Towns, Moses Moody, Kyle Anderson and the Clippers’ 2028 first-round pick.
And finally, the Minnesota Timberwolves would get Josh Hart, Julius Randle, Gary Payton II, Immanuel Quickley and the Knicks’ 2024 and 2026 first-round picks:
“Paul George’s defensive skills would be a welcome addition to the Warriors. His ability to guard multiple positions and disrupt opponents on the perimeter aligns well with the Warriors’ defensive-minded approach. His presence would make Golden State a more well-rounded team on both ends of the floor because he has more talent than Wiggins.
The Warriors have historically been known for their “Splash Brothers” duo of Curry and Thompson. Adding George to the mix would help balance the roster by providing another scoring threat and relieving some of the offensive burden from the backcourt.”
Bitar’s proposal certainly makes sense for all four teams on paper. The Warriors and Knicks would be adding new stars to their already-competitive rosters. The Clippers would be getting a younger and healthier impact player in Wiggins to pair with Kawhi Leonard, along with a quality three-point shooter in Fournier.

The Timberwolves would be getting two quality scorers in Hart and Randle to complement rising star Anthony Edwards and defensive sensation Rudy Gobert. In short, all four teams would address pressing needs in this trade scenario.
Bottom line: Adding George to a roster with Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry would unquestionably make the Warriors the heavy favorites to win it all in 2024.
