Patrick Beverley has been the subject of major discussion after he was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Memphis Grizzlies, only to get traded once again to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The internet has been trolling Beverley after his confidence got the best of him when he allegedly Steph Curry that the next five years would be his. “You had the last five years, the next five are mine.” Curry is said to have laughed and replied, “Aren’t you 31?”
The trash talk became infamous and would become a talking point every time the Clippers stumbled in the playoffs or since he’s been traded twice in 24 hours.
Beverley finally decided to speak on it this week.
“Yal gotta chill. Never said this ever. Stop listening to the internet. Funny as s— tho,” Beverley said.
