Two days after the helicopter crash in Calabasas that killed NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and eight others, the bodies of all victims have now all been recovered, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office announced Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the NTSB continued its investigation into why the helicopter crashed on Sunday into a hillside in Southern California.
According to NTSB investigator Jennifer Homendy, the helicopter came 20 to 30 feet from avoiding the mountain. She also stated that the helicopter did not have a terrain awareness warning system which would’ve let the pilot know how close he was coming to hitting something.
“It was a pretty devastating accident scene,” National Transportation Safety Board member Jennifer Homendy said at a news conference Monday evening.
