If there is one thing Nikola Jokic has to choose as his passion in life, horse racing certainly will be the one. The Serbian showed that again after the loss to the Lakers.
On Saturday night, the Lakers won 119-108 at the Crypto.com Arena to force a game 5. After the game when asked about the loss, Jokic said, “Of course we want to win. But I learned in horse racing it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. We didn’t finish today really well, hopefully we can do a better job.”
The reigning NBA champions had the chance to put an end to the series, but the Los Angeles franchise had a different idea. Spearheaded by a brilliant Anthony Davis and the timeless LeBron James, the gold and yellow brigade have finally broken their 11-game losing streak against the Denver side. But they are under no illusion that Nikola Jokic will show a different ball game at the Ball Arena in game 5, keeping on par with the usual high standards he has shown thus far.
Nikola Jokic’s Performance So Far In Play-Off Series

This was his 18th post-season triple-double in his career and with it, he takes his points per game in the series to 29.0 which was 27.7 coming into this game.
