Isaiah Joe added 31 points, including eight three-pointers, along with two assists, and provided the Thunder with a lethal scoring duo. The Thunder’s overall performance reinforced why they currently lead the Western Conference. Jalen Williams also contributed with 19 points, four rebounds, and five assists, while the team’s defense held the Knicks in check.
For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson delivered a strong performance with 27 points and five assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points and 10 rebounds. Josh Hart also stood out with 16 points and 13 rebounds. However, their efforts weren’t enough to keep up with the Thunder’s relentless offensive and defensive display. A notable struggle for the Knicks came from Mikal Bridges. Bridges played 32 minutes but failed to score, going 0-for-9 from the field and 0-for-7 from beyond the arc.
The Thunder will play the Washington Wizards on Sunday, while the Knicks will play the Milwaukee Bucks on the same day.
