Following an unbeaten preseason, the Golden State Warriors have carried their dominance into the regular season. With Andrew Wiggins delivering another standout performance, the Warriors secured a thrilling 112-108 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
This win keeps Golden State undefeated in the NBA Cup at 3-0 while improving their overall record to 12-3. The Warriors now sit atop the Western Conference, edging out the 12-4 Thunder.
In contrast, the loss leaves the New Orleans Pelicans at 4-13, placing them 14th in the West, just ahead of the 3-12 Utah Jazz.
Andrew Wiggins Shines Again As Warriors Edge Out Pelicans
After his standout performance against the Atlanta Hawks, Andrew Wiggins delivered another standout performance Friday night, leading the Golden State Warriors to a hard-fought win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Wiggins scored 30 points on efficient shooting, going 9-for-14 from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. He also contributed eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two blocks in just 28 minutes of play.
Stephen Curry also impressed with 19 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, while Draymond Green added 11 points and sealed the victory with two clutch free throws in the closing moments. Additional contributions came from Buddy Hield (12 points, 6 rebounds), Brandin Podziemski (11 points), Jonathan Kuminga (7 points), and Trayce Jackson-Davis (9 points).
Nevertheless, the Pelicans put up a strong fight, with five players scoring in double digits. Trey Murphy III led the team with 24 points, four rebounds, and four assists, while Jeremiah Robinson-Earl posted a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Ingram added 18 points, Brandon Boston Jr. scored 16, and Javonte Green chipped in with 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists.

The Warriors will aim to maintain their momentum as they take on the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Pelicans will look to bounce back when they face the Indiana Pacers on November 25.
