Looks like New Balance isn’t all that worried about their shoe sales in the Bay Area. If they were, they probably wouldn’t be trolling their professional basketball team with billboards along the Oakland highways.
Many drivers in the city probably noticed the billboards on their way to work today. They feature an image of Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard, alongside the words, “The King Of The North Is Coming.” And on the other side Orlando, Philly and Milwaukee are all crossed out, with Golden State next on the list.
First a Game 1 loss in the NBA Finals. And now this. It’s been a rough 24 hours for the Warriors and their fans.
