Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban has recently stirred up the conversation by urging LeBron James to consider retirement. Cuban, like many of the Los Angeles Lakers’ opponents, is eagerly waiting for LeBron’s reign in the NBA to come to an end. However, it seems that LeBron isn’t in any rush to leave the court.
Following his third career gold medal win at the Paris Olympics, LeBron made it clear that retirement wasn’t on his mind. The Lakers legend confidently expressed that stepping away from the game isn’t something he’s considering right now.
In a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” ESPN’s Shams Charania discussed LeBron’s potential retirement plans. According to Charania, LeBron isn’t done yet; rather, he’ll play at least two more seasons.
“LeBron James is gonna play at least two more years, and he could potentially go three. I don’t think anybody would be surprised if he played beyond next season,” Charania said.
Following Charania’s report, fans remained quick to join the conversation. Like Charania, many fans also think LeBron will continue for more years, especially after bolstering his confidence by winning gold in the Paris Olympics.

Ernie Johnson Jr. Reflects On Family Ties As LeBron And Bronny Prepare For Regular Season Debut
LeBron James hit a personal milestone by sharing the court with his son, Bronny James, during the Lakers’ second preseason game. For many, this family connection could be a strong reason for LeBron to extend his career for a few more years.
The father-son has made history by appearing in the Lakers’ regular season game together against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Before the pairing up, Ernie Johnson Jr. shares advice for them during his appearance on the NBA on TNT.
“As much fun as I have had through the years working with you guys and everybody else at TBS and TNT, nothing will ever match the opportunity I had in the {1990s} to work with my dad and to call ball games with my father shoulder to shoulder,” he said.
Till now, though Bronny struggled in the Summer League and preseason, by being alongside his great father, Bronny is expected to end up being a legend like his father.
