Due to his injury, he missed the first 38 games of the 2023–24 NBA season. After playing 15 games last season, Simmons missed the remainder due to nerve impingement in his lower back.
Despite his injuries, Simmons’ teammates still believe he can dominate the league if he is healthy. The Nets point guard underwent a microscopic partial discectomy to resolve the issue so that he can play in the upcoming NBA season, which will start soon.
