These days, LeBron James can just breathe in a certain direction and he would get a ton of hate for it. His newest admission of the next player he would love to play alongside is definitely going to get his haters in a frenzy.
Ahead of this week’s episode of The Shop, an exclusive clip dropped showing the Lakers superstar telling everybody in the room who he would love to play with. LeBron reveals that his son Bronny is “number one on my fucking list” as far as players he wants to play professional basketball with.
“Not too long ago, I asked him, ‘What you wanna do with this? You wanna get to the pros? What you wanna do?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘Because I wanna make a name for myself,’” LeBron continued. “That’s all I needed to hear.”
As far as current players, LeBron said he’d love to play with Steph Curry. Asked why he picked Steph, LeBron described the Warriors point guard as “lethal.”
When it came to all-time players, LeBron chose Scottie Pippen. “Obviously MJ was crazy, Kobe would’ve been another one. But Scottie Pippen and Penny Hardaway was like my two… Because I see myself in them,” he said.
That is a very interesting pick for a guy who has criticized him so much in the media. Clearly, LeBron doesn’t pay too much attention to the multiple avenues of hate he receives from every corner of the country.
