The Golden State Warriors have been on a solid run this season, with Stephen Curry leading the team to an undefeated 3-0 record in the NBA Cup and a 12-3 overall record. Despite losing his “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson during the offseason, Curry has continued to perform at a high level, helping the Warriors sit atop the Western Conference.
However, SportsCenter recently came up with an unexpected theory to explain the Warriors’ success this season. According to this wild theory, the release of Kendrick Lamar’s albums has been linked to the Warriors winning NBA titles. According to them, the last four times Lamar released an album, the Warriors went on to win the championship.
The pattern includes Lamar’s album To Pimp a Butterfly in 2015, DAMN. in 2017, Black Panther: The Album in 2018, and Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers in 2022. Each of these album releases coincided with a Warriors’ title victory.
The famous rapper recently released his new album, ‘GNX.’ According to the theory, the release of Lamar’s music this year could signal another championship for Stephen Curry, as he recently shared his greediness to win a fifth championship.
