The NBA has recently been under fire for referees’ calls for a foul. The most recent victim of the controversial calls is Brandin Podziemski. The incident happened during a recent game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It was all going well. Both the teams had a nearly similar points tally. But it all turned the other way around when the official called a technical foul on Podziemsk. Reason? He was yelling at the refs to stop the game as some beer spilled around the sidelines. However, his expression did not go well for the Warriors, and the referees got the whistle-blowing.
NBA referees are hilarious… they gave Podz a tech for yelling at them to stop the game to clean up a beer spilled on the court. They did withdraw it. pic.twitter.com/SeNraXB7uS

Ultimately, the referee withdrew the call, leaving the fans in shock. Stephen Curry made a strong comeback and led the Bay Area team to a 113-103 victory over the Twolves on Saturday night. He scored 11 points in a row during the fourth quarter and finished the game with 31 points. Trayce Jackson-Davis supported him with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Podziemski added 12 points.
The Warriors played much better on defense this game compared to their recent loss against the Grizzlies, where they allowed a record 27 three-pointers. In this game, they held the Timberwolves to 41.9% shooting. Minnesota had a strong third quarter, scoring 38 points and taking the lead twice, but they could not overcome their early deficit of 36-15.
