The Christmas Day game between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs got a lot more interesting. Thanks to Josh Hart, the Spurs’ fans are lashing out at the Knicks star. It all started with an X post from Hart. “Spurs= 💩💩💩💩“ wrote Hart on his X handle. Quite expectedly, the Spurs’ fans did not like such an insult. They immediately got triggered and began criticizing Hart for his lack of compassion towards his opponents.
While this incident can prove to be an excellent narrative for the upcoming game, there has been a slight misunderstanding. In reality, Josh Hart’s post was not intended for the San Antonio Spurs at all! He was trying to troll the English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur! Coincidentally, the EPL club is also known as ‘Spurs,’ hence the confusion.
