Jalen Rose had a lengthy NBA career, but the younger fan base only remembers him as the guy who got 81 dropped on him by Kobe Bryant, even though Kobe lit up the entire Toronto Raptors squad that fateful night.
However, he was the most noticeable name on the team at the time, so he gets most of the blame, unfortunately. The moment came way back in 2006 and Rose has been getting roasted about it ever since.
During a commercial, Kobe even joked about it in an excerpt from “Jalen vs. Everybody,“ as he ordered a martini with 81 olives after greeting Jalen.
During Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Rose was at TD Garden handing out autographs and taking pictures when one fan decided it was the perfect time to troll him about that 2006 game.
