This was just weird and done for absolutely no reason at all.
On Thursday, the official NBA Draft Twitter account decided to post a photo of R.J. Barrett after he got selected with the 3rd overall pick by the New York Knicks, but did so by photo-shopping the earrings he was wearing off of him.
Barrett’s earlobes are completely missing from the photo, and there was no viable reason to even do this in the first place. It’s not like the earrings were advertising anything.
Whatever the case may be, Barrett plans on taking his 22.6 points and 7.6 rebounds average per game and possibly expand on it as a professional for the Knicks in the Garden every night.
