With the Paris Olympics 2024 ending on a winning note for the USA men’s basketball team, the 2024-25 NBA season is in full view.
The NBA announced the schedule of the upcoming season on Thursday. The 2024 NBA champions, the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks are scheduled to face each other in the first match of the 79th NBA regular season on October 22.
In the 2024 NBA preseason, the reigning champions and the Nuggets will face each other in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Boston and Denver begin their preseason with two games earlier than other teams. The Emirates NBA Cup will be played between November 12 and December 17.
NBA Playoffs Begins On April 19
Five games will be played on Christmas Day, with the Lakers and the Warriors making the headline clash. LeBron James, who will be playing record 22nd NBA season, will be up against his Paris Olympics teammate, Stephen Curry. The 2025 NBA All-Star will commence on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
The 2024-25 regular season ends on April 13, and the NBA Play-In Tournament will take place from April 15 to 18. The 2025 NBA Playoffs will begin on April 19, while the Finals will be played on June 5.
