LaVar Ball made another appearance on ESPN’s First Take Monday morning to discuss the blockbuster Lakers-Pelicans trade that included his son, Lonzo Ball, getting shipped to New Orleans in a package for Anthony Davis.
LaVar had some strong comments on the move, but it was what he said to Molly that had everybody’s attention.
Qerim, the co-host of First Take, asked LaVar if they could “switch gears” in the conversation, to which LaVar responded: “You can switch gears with me any day.”
Molly was definitely taken aback by the comment.
Towards the end of the show, Qerim joked that should would contacting HR after the show, which was clearly a reference to what Ball said earlier in the show.

This hardly the first time LaVar Ball has gotten himself in hot water with the ladies. He famously was criticized harshly for telling Kristine Leahy to “stay in your lane” while appearing on Colin Cowherd’s show.
