On Sunday, the Milwaukee Bucks secured a hard-fought 135-127 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Fiserv Forum. Despite missing their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks relied on a phenomenal performance from Damian Lillard to take down a fully loaded 76ers squad featuring Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey.
With this win, Milwaukee improved to a 28-23 record, placing them fifth in the Eastern Conference standings. Meanwhile, Philadelphia fell to 20-32, dropping to 11th place.

Damian Lillard delivered one of his most dominant performances of the season. He scored 43 points while adding eight rebounds, eight assists, and two steals in 44 minutes of play.
Lillard shot 14-of-27 from the field, drained eight three-pointers, and was perfect from the free-throw line with 7-for-7. With this game, Lillard now holds the fourth-most 40-point games by a point guard in the history of the NBA.

While Lillard was the clear star, Gary Trent Jr. and Bobby Portis also stepped up in a big way. Trent Jr. added 23 points, six rebounds, and three steals, shooting 7-of-12 from three. Portis scored 18 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists. Additionally, Brook Lopez had 15 points, and AJ Green wrapped up the game with 11 points.
Tyrese Maxey performed incredibly despite the loss, scoring 39 points on 16-of-23 shooting. He also contributed five assists and four rebounds. The young guard has been the heart of the 76ers this season and proved his ability to carry the offensive load even when playing alongside Embiid and George.

Embiid had a solid outing with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. George finished with just 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Philadelphia also saw a surprise scoring boost from Guerschon Yabusele, who added 18 points off the bench.
