Last night, the Milwaukee Bucks lost Game 4 to the Atlanta Hawks, but may have lost even more than that when Giannis went down with a leg injury.
Farbod Esnaashari of Bleacher Report said the team fears he suffered a severe ACL injury.
Antetokounmpo went up for a rebound and landed awkwardly, hyperextending his left knee. He would make his back to the locker room, but return a short time later that gave the fan base and the franchise hope. The Hawks would soon go on a run and push the lead to 20. He would leave and not return.
After the game was over, ESPN’s Malika Andrews reported that Giannis is expected to undergo further imaging on his injured knee.
The series is now tied 2-2, but that is the least of the Bucks worry right now. The two teams face off in Game 5 on Thursday night.
