This is not going to help Miles Bridges’ case one bit.
The Charlotte Hornets player allegedly choked his wife until she passed out, broke her nose, and gave her a concussion in a disturbing domestic violence attack that landed her in the hospital and the star athlete in jail, his estranged spouse revealed on social media Friday.
“I hate that it has come to this but I can’t be silent anymore,” wrote Johnson, who’s been with Bridges since at least 2016 and shares two young children with him.
“I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life.”
The NBA free agency period has kicked off and everything has been quiet when it comes to Bridges, who was in line to receive a max contract. As of now, no team is likely to come anywhere near him with the allegations his wife has put out against him.
In the meantime, Bridges is trying to play defense by sending out a picture that allegedly shows he suffered injuries as well.
