Gordon Hayward is a real one.
On Monday night, ESPN decided to re-air Kobe Bryant’s final game in his career as he took on the Utah Jazz. That brought about a story in the 4th quarter where Kobe was going off to get himself 60 points.
Gordon Hayward made sure that was possible.
Mike Tirico explained how Hayward purposely stepped into the lane during free throws for Kobe Bryant that would give him 59 and 60. If Kobe had missed that second one, it would be called a lane violation and Kobe would get another shot.
Kobe hit it the first time.
