LaMelo Ball, like most professional athletes, truly believes he could do a much better job than the current crop of refs. On Monday, he decided to make his point clear.
Last season’s NBA Rookie of the Year was in Chicago to face his older brother, Lonzo Ball, and the Bulls. LaMelo was upset with referee Tony Brothers over a non-call and slapped the floor in disgust.
He got a technical foul and then made the below comment that was caught on a mic.
“I’mma be a ref when I’m done hooping, and show y’all how to ref,” Ball yelled.
The Bulls won the game, 133-119.

LaMelo did not have a good shooting night while scoring 18 points on 15 shots, but did distribute 13 assists.
Currently, the Bulls have the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 14-8 record, while the Hornets are sixth at 13-10.
