After the Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat, 120-11, center Nikola Jokic partied the night away in Miami. The reigning league MVP was there was his brothers Strahinja and Nemanja.
Not only was Nikola the guest of honor, they also played the Serbian National Anthem inside the club. The 26-year-old was captured on camera raising his hand in the air and directing the crowd as he sang along.
The brothers enjoyed Miami nightlife after Jokic finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists in the Nuggets’ win.
Despite what happened the previous meeting between Jokic and Morris, nothing happened between the teams as everyone has moved on from the situation. Despite what people thought on social media about the Jokic brothers being in town for the game, Nuggets coach Mike Malone said Jokic’s siblings have traveled to Miami every year to watch Denver play.
Strahinja and Nemanja were in an intense social media spat with Marcus Morris over an in-game scuffle between Jokic and Markieff Morris. Both players were ejected late in the fourth quarter after Jokic hit Markieff from behind in retaliation to a hard foul.
