Jimmy Butler’s Key Role Powers Miami Heat To Win Over Toronto Raptors
Jimmy Butler is in the final season of his contract with the Miami Heat, and he’s determined to give his all in what could be his last year with the team. In Friday’s win against the Toronto Raptors, Butler played a key role, finishing with 26 points, two rebounds, and six assists while shooting 57.1% in 34 minutes.
Tyler Herro was the second-highest scorer for the Heat, finishing with 23 points and four assists on 8 of 18 shooting. Bam Adebayo had an impressive triple-double, contributing 14 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Other notable performances came from Jaime Jaquez Jr., who scored 15 points, and Terry Rozier, who added 12 points. Duncan Robinson and Kevin Love also contributed 10 points and 8 points respectively.
On the Raptors’ side, RJ Barrett had a strong game with 25 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl both added 24 points, with Barnes also recording a triple-double (10 rebounds and 10 assists) and Poeltl contributing 10 rebounds and one assist.
