In the second game of their four-game road trip, the Miami Heat secured a 121-111 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. With Suns star Kevin Durant sidelined due to a foot injury, Miami capitalized on his absence, delivering a commanding performance led by the duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The victory brought Miami’s record to 11-10, improving to 6-3 over their last nine outings and climbing to sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Meanwhile, the Suns fell to 12-10, dropping to eighth in the Western Conference.
Miami Heat’s Balanced Offense Shines Against Suns
The Heat displayed a team-first mentality, with multiple players contributing significantly. Bam Adebayo was the leader of the Heat and wrapped up the game with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. Jimmy Butler followed closely, scoring 24 points while grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing 4 assists.

Duncan Robinson knocked down five three-pointers en route to 19 points and 4 assists. Tyler Herro added 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in a well-rounded performance. Haywood Highsmith contributed 14 points and 2 steals, while Kevin Love chipped in with 11 points and 4 rebounds.
The Phoenix team badly missed Durant’s scoring and leadership on the court. On the Suns side, Royce O’Neale scored 23 points with 7 rebounds. Devin Booker added 21 points and 7 assists. Bradley Beal contributed 15 points, and Grayson Allen chipped in with 16, but the team fell short against Miami’s relentless offense.
Up next, the Suns will face the Orlando Magic on Sunday, while the Heat are set to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers the same day.
