The Miami Heat secured a 122-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at Kaseya Center. This marked Cleveland’s fourth loss of the season, snapping their winning streak as Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson proved to be key challenges for the Cavs.
Despite the defeat, the Cavaliers maintain their position at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with a 21-4 record. Meanwhile, the Heat’s win improved their record to 12-10, moving them into fifth place in the East.

Miami showcased superior ball movement and control throughout the game, with 27 assists and only 11 turnovers. Their dominance on the boards saw them out-rebounding Cleveland 47-36, including a 10-5 advantage on offensive rebounds.
Tyler Herro led the way for the Heat, delivering a game-high 34 points, along with six rebounds and seven assists.

Duncan Robinson added 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including four three-pointers. Jimmy Butler contributed 18 points, five assists, and three rebounds, while Bam Adebayo recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Darius Garland stood out for the Cavaliers, scoring 23 points and dishing out five assists. However, Donovan Mitchell had an off night, managing just 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting while adding five rebounds.

Cleveland’s bench provided some support as Georges Niang contributed 15 points, Ty Jerome added 14 points and six assists, and Caris LeVert added 13 points.
The Cavs were efficient from the free-throw line, shooting 94.4%. But their struggles in rebounding and inconsistent offensive output ultimately cost them the game.
The Cavaliers will have four days to regroup before facing the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Meanwhile, the Heat will look to continue their momentum as they take on the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.
