Miami Heat point guard Terry Rozier has his name floating around over damning allegations.
Federal prosecutors are reportedly investigating Rozier due to his potential involvement in an illegal sports gambling ring.
“Federal prosecutors have been investigating whether veteran NBA player Terry Rozier manipulated his performance as part of an illegal sports betting scheme,” wrote Wall Street Journal’s Jared Diamond.
Federal investigators are looking into unusual betting activity relating to Rozier when he was playing for the Charlotte Hornets.
The 30-year-old Terry Rozier left a March 23, 2023 game after less than 10 minutes played against the New Orleans Pelicans. That game saw him receive a strong amount of betting interest on his Unders for the game.

Terry Rozier Has Not Been Charged
Federal prosecutors are looking into claims that veteran NBA guard Terry Rozier manipulated his performances as part of an illegal gambling scheme.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place in 2023 when he played for the Hornets.
Rozier had been one of the Hornets’ top performers during a hot stretch coming into the game, but he would suddenly sub himself out with a foot injury after only nine minutes.
The report from The Wall Street Journal states a flood of money was coming in on the “under” totals for Rozier’s props earlier in the day.
It was highly unusual.
Despite the investigation, Terry Rozier has not been charged with a crime.
