Bronny James has been the center of attention this NBA season as he joined his father, the legendary LeBron James, on the Los Angeles Lakers roster. Despite his massive popularity reflected in his jersey sales, Bronny struggled to make a significant impact on the court during his rookie season.
In response to his early-season challenges, Lakers head coach JJ Redick decided to assign Bronny to the South Bay Lakers in the G-League. The move appears to have paid off, as Bronny recently delivered a stunning 30-point performance in a G-League game. This breakout game has reignited discussions about his potential return to the Lakers’ main roster.
One of the most notable voices advocating for Bronny’s return is former NBA star Dwyane Wade. Speaking on his podcast, “The Why,” Wade shared his thoughts on the Lakers’ current state and Bronny’s development.
“When I look at the Lakers, I want Anthony Davis to have an MVP-type year. As a fan, I want to see LeBron play at the level he wants to play at. Honestly, bring Bronny up, we want to see that. As a fan of the game, I am not looking at the Lakers and say they’re gonna win a championship,” Wade said.
