Ja Morant is either unaware of the bad press surrounding him this week or does not care. Because a mere few days removed from a report citing police filings noting he was accused of assaulting a teenager and threatening him with a firearm, the Memphis Grizzlies point guard has taken to Instagram Live to flash a gun.
The NBA also only recently investigated claims of someone in Morant’s entourage pointing a gun at an individual employed by the Indiana Pacers during a confrontation after a game. Ja’s company was accused of aiming a laser at the Pacers staffer but it’s believed it was attached to a weapon.
The league could not corroborate threats with a gun but banned certain people from attending games at Memphis’ FedExForum.
It appears Morant is intent on making it clear that he does keep guns around as he was seen flashing one on IG Live on Friday night. You could see the video right below.

Morant is attracting plenty of attention as a result of the above, with most fans wondering why he’s so keen on landing himself in hot water with the league and possibly seeing himself out of the NBA, especially when he’s one of the best players in the pros.
Morant is averaging 27.1 points and 8.2 assists per game this season and is undoubtedly the most electrifying star in basketball right now.
The Grizzlies, who are on track to make the playoffs as they sit in second in the Western Conference, can’t be pleased with Ja’s latest antics but, so far, have not commented.
