On Tuesday night, much of the talk centered around the New Orleans Pelicans sneaking in and being awarded the #1 overall draft pick which will most likely be Zion Williamson come June.
It was also about how the New York Knicks failed to secure the top pick, but not many people were talking about the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies came away with the #2 pick and they wasted no time making their decision.
On Wednesday, it was reported that the team would be selecting Ja Morant with the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and are informing anybody willing to listen of their plans.
Morant became a household name in the 2019 NCAA Tournament and showcased his skills well enough to make himself a top-5 pick.
