Bill Simmons, a well-known sportswriter and critic, just published a new episode of his official podcast. In it, he addressed one of the most hotly debated subjects in the basketball community: Bronny James’ NBA draft selection.
Although it has long been known that LeBron James’ older son, the Los Angeles Lakers star, wants to play in the major leagues, his collegiate season’s results have cast doubt on how desirable he is to NBA teams. But, leverage has been created that will be difficult for the clubs to ignore because LeBron has been highly outspoken about his intention to play with his kid once before he departs.
Ryen Russillo, a former ESPN host, joined as a co-host, and the two spoke about what would happen next. According to Russillo, LeBron James’s current goal is to extract as much money as possible from the Lakers. The team would have to make the player an offer he can’t turn down since other teams could want to sign him because of the “Bronny Situation.”
“Maybe it’s like $100 million for two years but he’s got an opt-out after the first year, and they can rig it that way,” Simmons stated, outlining his opinions over LeBron’s potential deal.
Kevin O’Connor Claimed That LeBron James’ Son Should Go Back to College
Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer discussed Bronny James’s chances of entering the NBA with an NBA general manager. The General Manager stated:
“He should go back to school to develop at his own pace or he risks getting lost in the shuffle, whether or not he’s playing with his dad.”

Many supporters and experts believe he wouldn’t benefit from a move to the NBA because of his health problems and lack of experience playing a fast-paced game for an extended period. Although Bronny’s decision to keep his collegiate eligibility is encouraging, uncertainty persists.
Since LeBron James has shown a desire to play with his kid, some analysts believe NBA teams will choose Bronny only to get LeBron.
