Of all the “hot takes” we’ve heard this year, this one from Max Kellerman is THE WORST.
During the 2018-19 NBA season, James Harden averaged 36.1 points, 7.5 assists and 6.6 rebounds per game. He led the league in several advanced statistical categories, including win shares, box plus/minus, and value over replacement player. Oh, and he also scored at least 30 points in a ridiculous 32-straight games.
Harden wasn’t too shabby in the postseason, either. He averaged 31.6 points per game over 11 contests and led the Rockets to the second round, where they eventually lost in six games to the Golden State Warriors.
That’s quite the season right there. Many would even say that a campaign like Harden’s might be worthy of the MVP award…
But not Max Kellerman. Heck, Max doesn’t even think Harden deserves to be on the first-team All-NBA!
There is no such thing as the regular season? Deserve’s got nothing to do with it? LeBron James should be on the first-team All-NBA?

Max Kellerman’s gone mad!
I understand that these sports personalities make their living off horrible takes. It’s the easiest way to get people talking about you. But this is still pretty horrible. And Twitter let him know about it. Even a couple of NBA players chimed in.
