Dallas Mavericks’ outing against the Denver Nuggets did not go as expected. Looking to clinch a victory, the Mavericks eventually fell 101-112 to an impressive Nuggets. Surprisingly, the Mavericks controlled proceedings for a significant part of the game. However, a late fourth-quarter burst from the Nuggets took the game away from Jason Kidd’s team. Unsurprisingly, Nikola Jokic was once again Denver’s hero.
With yet another incredible performance on the line, Jokic seems to have earned everyone’s respect. Apart from the Nuggets’ fans cheering for him, Mavericks’ Head Coach, Jason Kidd too, could be seen making a bold Nikola Jokic claim.
“He’s the best in the world,” Kidd stated. He further added, “We gotta try to take something away, but (in the Nuggets-Mavericks game) he was able to pass and score.”

Well, the Mavericks’ HC might have a point here. The 3x NBA MVP dropped 19 points, 18 rebounds, and a whopping nine assists in the game. Overall, Jokic is averaging 31.6 points per game! And if that is not impressive enough, he also has an average of 9.9 assists and 13 rebounds per game to show for it. Meanwhile, leading the Western Conference star rating, Jokic cannot help but laugh at the same.

Nikola Jokic is proving his worth as to why he is a three-time NBA MVP. This season has had its fair share of ups and downs, testing Jokic’s temperament significantly. However, remaining true to his character, the NBA star performed consistently, helping his team inch closer to the playoffs.
Acknowledging his efforts, Nikola Jokic currently leads the Western Conference All-Star ballot. And while it was a mighty proud moment for the Serbians, he joked about it recently.
