Earlier this week, the New Orleans Pelicans were awarded the #1 pick in the NBA Draft with everybody pretty much knowing the team would be selecting Zion Williamson during the 2019 NBA Draft.
When that actually happens, Zion could be a bigger player than Michael Jordan, so says Master P.
“He’ll be bigger than Michael Jordan, I’m just telling y’all. Think about it, when Jordan first came out of college everyone had to have his jersey. Everyone wanted to be like Mike. Come to New Orleans they gonna wanna be like you Z.”
If Zion buys into the franchise and turns it around, he could possibly be as big as Drew Brees is in the city and possibly eclipse him if he brings multiple titles to New Orleans.
As far as being bigger than Jordan, it’s just not going to happen.
