Perkins expressed his disbelief on social media by sharing a hilarious post. The former NBA star admitted that the shot had him intently listening to Gospel Music.
“This MF Luka got me on this plane listening to Gospel Music. I’m in total disbelief at the moment,” Perkins wrote on X.
Doncic finished the game with a triple-double, tallying 32 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds. This marks his fourth triple-double in the last five playoff games. Despite trailing by many points, Doncic’s leadership propelled the Mavericks to a thrilling comeback victory.

Doncic is dealing with a knee sprain and left ankle soreness, making his appearance in the upcoming game a game-time decision. The Serbian superstar’s health has been a cause for concern, with multiple injuries, including a knee sprain, an ankle sprain, a back injury, and a sore Achilles. But, till now, he has not missed a single playoff game this season.
However, the Mavericks remain hopeful that Doncic will be able to overcome his injuries and take the court for Game 3.
