Luka Doncic hasn’t made many mistakes during his time in the NBA, but one of his first ones was quite eye opening.
The Dallas Mavs star posted a video to his social media pages that contained a racist statement against Albanian people. He removed immediately after realizing he had made a mistake.
Doncic also reached out renowned Albanian personality Deni Hoxha, who was one of the individuals who called out Doncic for the video.
“Mavericks player Luka Doncic shared by mistake a video with racist remarks towards Albanians. Thank you Luka for your apology,” said the Albanian. “I believe you. Reconciliation between our nations is the only way forward.”

This was the video where fans were reportedly chanting to kill Albanians.
As far as his play on the court, the 21-year-old has averaged 28.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.9 triples per contest before the season would be suspended due to the coronavirus.
