The game was not just about the victory but also about the electric atmosphere surrounding Doncic’s first appearance in purple and gold. His family and Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki were present to witness the historic moment.
Although on a minutes restriction due to his nearly two-month absence from the game, Doncic made the most of his 24 minutes on the court. He finished the night with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists while shooting 5-of-14 from the field and 1-of-7 from beyond the arc.

LeBron James, as always, led the way for the Lakers with 24 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists. Austin Reaves contributed 22 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Rui Hachimura added 21 points and six rebounds, while Jordan Goodwin came off the bench to score 17 points along with eight rebounds.
On the other side, the Jazz had a tough night despite solid performances from multiple players. John Collins and Lauri Markkanen led Utah in scoring with 17 points each. Walker Kessler dominated the boards with 12 rebounds to go along with his 13 points, and Isaiah Collier posted 13 points, four rebounds, and 10 assists.
