Knecht scored 37 points, shooting 9-for-12 from beyond the arc while adding five rebounds. His dominance was evident in the third quarter, where he tallied 21 points.
This performance etched his name in Lakers history as only the fourth player to make nine 3-pointers in a single game, joining the elite company of Kobe Bryant, D’Angelo Russell, and LeBron James. Knecht also became the first rookie this season to achieve such a feat.
