The Denver Nuggets took the court against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, reminding them of their dominance against LeBron James’ team. With their hero Nikola Jokic, they did quite well, gaining a 127-102 victory over the Lakers on Saturday. The game marked the first time the Nuggets faced the Lakers after beating them last season to dash Los Angeles’ trophy dream in the first round of the playoffs.
After coming off a loss against the Dallas Mavericks in the last game, the win against the Lakers served as a boost for Denver. With the win, they improved to 9-6 and their position in the West. On the other hand, the game marked the Lakers’ second game that they dropped at home. The loss left them 10-6 on the season while still sitting in fourth place in the West.
