After starting the season strong with a 3-1 record, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers faced a tough challenge against the Cleveland Cavaliers, his former team. During the nail-biting game in James’ hometown, the Cavaliers secured a 134-110 victory, marking their fifth consecutive win.
The Cavaliers controlled the game from the beginning, consistently thwarting the Lakers’ attempts to mount a comeback. Evan Mobley was the standout performer for Cleveland, scoring 25 points.
Donovan Mitchell finished with 24 points, three rebounds, and seven assists. Jarrett Allen posted a double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Caris LeVert added 16 points and six assists, while Darius Garland chipped in 12 points to help the Cavaliers secure the win.
On the Lakers’ side, LeBron James led all scorers with 26 points, six rebounds, and three assists while making all seven free-throw attempts. Anthony Davis also performed well, scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
Both Lakers rookies, Dalton Knecht and Bronny James, took the court. Knecht scored 18 points, three rebounds, and one assist in 22 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Bronny James made his presence felt during the fourth quarter. He ended the game with 2 points and two assists in just five minutes on the court.

“To see him score his first basket in the NBA in this arena, where he grew up just a few miles from here, is an incredible moment—first and foremost for him, for the family. It was very cool to be a part of it,” LeBron said.
The Lakers’ upcoming game is against the Toronto Raptors on November 1.
