Los Angeles Lakers Insider Reveals That The Energy And Vibes Around The Team Is At An ‘All-Time High’ This Season

The Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James has claimed on media day that it would be “unfair” to have expectations from the team this season. The 39-year-old forward will play alongside his son Bronny James in his 22nd season. Recently, Lakers insider Jovan Buha revealed that the energy around the franchise is “at an all-time high.”

On the media day, Laker’s new head coach, JJ Redick, revealed the starting five for the 2024-25 season. Following Redick’s plan to have nine-man rotation, the Lakers insider added four names to complete the strategy on his podcast Buha’s Block. Apart from LeBron, Davis, Reeves, DLo, and Hachimura, he named Gabe Vincent, Max Christie, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Jaxson Hayes.

On Wednesday, Buha discussed the vibe around the Lakers and said, “The vibes around the Lakers are at an all-time high. This is my fifth season covering the Lakers and my fifth training camp, and I cannot remember the Lakers having this kind of positive, joyous, and upbeat energy to this extent in any of the previous four training camps. That’s not hyperbole—it’s my honest opinion and assessment of what I’m witnessing.”

Lakers’ LeBron, Bronny, and Christie Work Out Together At Training Camp

Buha described the first training session as an “upbeat, high-intensity environment” where LeBron, Bronny, and Christie worked out together. He said, “Players were going through drills and shooting at game-style speed, and the intensity stood out, especially with LeBron, Bronny, and Max Christie doing shooting drills together.”
