Since the LA Clippers season is over after a disappointing exit from the playoffs, veteran Russell Westbrook shifted all his focus to his fashion brand, Honor the Gift. While hosting the event of his clothesline, the former OKC guard recently made a fashion statement with his super chic look.
On Friday, the brand dropped its Summer Collection in a Los Angeles flagship store with the theme “Pride in Tradition: Embracing Heritage of the Inner City.” The brand owner, Westbrook, and his wife, Nina Earl, attended the event in simple yet elegant attire.
While the Clippers’ guard preferred to go for an all-white outfit coupled with neck chains, Nina chose a half-sleeved shirt paired with a trending denim skirt that had a slit. She kept her jewelry minimal. Nina finished her look with black boots and the same colored bag and belt. Their neutral colors stood out in the middle of the vibrant-colored collection in the shop.
Besides concentrating on his performance on the hardwood, Westbrook paid some serious attention to fashion and has always been connected to it.
Russell Westbrook Takes His Fashion Seriously
Russell Westbrook likes experimenting with his outfits and has a clear mindset about his style. Last December, the 9-time All-Star appeared in Vogue’s series “Life in Looks,” where he spoke about the evolution of his fashion and how his interest grew in the fashion field.
The 35-year-old mentioned in the YouTube video that he was clear about keeping his wedding look in the Tom Ford tuxedo “clean, classic, but also be fresh.” Westbrook also attended the Met Gala in recent years and stunned everyone with his top-notch looks.

In the video, Westbrook discusses his inclination toward fashion: “I always wanted to have an opportunity to have my own brand. That’s meaningful, impactful, inspiring.” The former Lakers guard launched his fashion label in 2017 and has worked on it to flourish in the business ever since.
Amidst the rumors about his desire to depart from the Clippers, Westbrook is entertaining the fans with his fashion antics. Hopefully, he can carry the fashion on to court as well.
