Well, this was a complete fail.
Earlier this week, a Lakers fan took to Reddit in complete rage and stated he was going to organize a protest of the Lakers franchise outside of Staples Center with the hope of garnering media coverage.
“Why? Jeannie hates bad PR. She don’t care about us, but cares what the media says,” the fan wrote. “Point is to spin the narrative to the Talking Heads ‘Is Jeannie the opposite of her Father?’ and have them talk.”
Friday was the day and when cameras came out to see the thousands in attendance, they were greeted with about 17 fans. It was a poor showing, much like the Lakers team during the 2018-2019 season.
