LiAngelo Ball is getting destroyed on Twitter after revealing the name of his unborn baby.
The second of LaVar Ball’s basketball-playing sons, LiAngelo is now signed to the G League’s Greensboro Swarm. Basketball is clearly a family tradition among the Balls, and it appears first names starting with “L” is also custom.
The 24-year-old took to Instagram this week to share pictures of a recent baby shower he and his girlfriend, Nikki Mudarris, had. The couple is expecting a baby boy, whom they already have a name for: LaVelo.
It appears they went for a mix of LaVar and LaMelo.
That much was apparent as the name was visible in a lot of the decor; Nikki also disclosed it in her own post. And fans are trolling LiAngelo as a result. You could see some of the reactions right below:

LiAngelo and his brothers, Lonzo and LaMelo, all fall in line, as does his father LaVar. But that’s not all, LaVar’s brothers go by LaFrance, LaValle, LaRenzo, and LaShon. So it really wasn’t LaVar’s idea.
The founder of the Big Baller Brand has come under a lot of criticism over the years but fans are now singing his praises following the emergence of Baby Gronk. The 10-year-old football player is being groomed for the NFL by his father, who fans think makes LaVar look like a model dad.
