LeBron James doesn’t appear to be upset with his teammate getting arrested.
Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso was arrested and released on Tuesday for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and social media went nuts over the incident.
Lt. Bobby Richardson of the Texas A&M Police Department told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne Caruso tried to board a flight when Transportation and Security Administration searched Caruso’s bags and found a herb grinder that contained marijuana. According to online records, Caruso was arrested for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.
LeBron eventually heard the news and jumped online to react to it:
Caruso played collegiately at Texas A&M. The unrestricted free agent averaged 6.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 58 games this past season.
