LeBron James is reportedly sidelined for weeks after suffering a foot injury during a win over the Mavericks. James was seen on camera saying that he “heard it pop” after he fell to the floor during the second half of the game.
During that game, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and his wife were in attendance.
While playing through the injury, James could be seen speaking to the two-time NFL Super Bowl MVP about both of them playing through ankle injuries.
“You not the only one playing with a fuckedd up ankle”
Mahomes sprained his ankle during a playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He would then reaggravate it during the Super Bowl. He received some shots in the locker room and was able to finish out that game.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, James “miraculously played through the injury” and he is expected to miss at least two or three weeks.

The Lakers were finally starting to look like a complete team and the injury to a 38-year-old James may have just put the nail in the coffin of the 2022-23 campaign for Los Angeles.
It should be noted that the team looks much better since the trade deadline, so they just may be able to keep their heads above water while James is out.
If they can limp into the playoffs, they may have a well-rested LeBron coming back at the right time.
