LeBron James, the star player of the Los Angeles Lakers, is frequently spotted playing basketball with his sons, whether at home or on other courts. His eldest son, Bronny, who was drafted by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft, is set to play alongside his father in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, James’ youngest son, Bryce, confidently claims he can beat his father in a one-on-one game.
In the clip, a reporter asks Bryce, “Who do you think would win in a 1-on-1, you or your dad?” Without hesitation, Bryce confidently responds, explaining why he believes he could take down his father in a head-to-head matchup.
“He always tells me to go out there and have fun and stay aggressive, You know your shots will come to you even if they’re not falling. Just keep shooting, and you’re gonna make it. Just knowing how far he’s come, seeing that he came from a little city, The build-up of where he’s come from is great.” Bryce James said.
Though many kids aspire to outshine their fathers in sports, James, who was recently trolled by NBA fans, is a particularly tough opponent on the court.
Bryce Is Excited To See LeBron James And Bronny Playing Together
LeBron James, widely regarded as the greatest player of all time, will soon play his 22nd season in the NBA. The 39-year-old gave several dominating performances last season but ultimately lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. However, the upcoming season could be different as he will be playing alongside his son, Bronny. His youngest son is very excited to see them playing together.
“I’ve always looked at him. Of course, he is my big brother. It was definitely a great experience just seeing how far he has come, like the journey that he had to go through… And then also, off the court, just like, being around him, being with him, then just hearing his name get called.” Bryce James said in a recent interview with Uninterrupted.
